Many of you must think that I have fallen off the face of the earth. I've taken a hiatus in the past, but nothing resembling this long jaunt! My apologies to anyone who liked to read here and keep up-to-date on me. Life has been busy!
For starters, I'm going to be a grandma in September! Can you even believe it?!?! I honestly don't think it has sunk in yet, but I'm sure it won't take long for reality to hit me once that precious baby arrives!
Since I've been gone, I turned 40. It was uneventful to say the least and I would have liked to have marked the occasion by doing something special or momentous, but alas, it was just another day. I have discovered that being 40 isn't as bad as I had once imagined. I've found myself wanting to try new things and challenge myself more. Being 40 is actually quite liberating.
As for now, I've decided to attend MT school. Just trying to decide between 2 online courses.
M-Tec and
Andrews School. Both cost close to the same and seem to be good, thorough courses. Originally I was going to enroll into
Career Step. The course cost considerably less. But after a little digging around, I'm finding that it may not be right for me. If I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it the right way and get the best training I can find. For now I'm leaning toward
M-Tec, but still researching as I try and round up my financing. UGH! Not fun in this sucky economy.
My family seems to change on a daily basis. Shelby & Payton are growing up so fast, becoming more mature and responsible every day. Jaxson could nearly pass for a 4 year-old. At his last check-up he weighed 41 pounds and was 40 inches tall! He still likes to snuggle with me, but I know that will end in an instant, so I've made him promise to give mommy a hug every day.

Troy has been working third shift for quite some time and I've become accustomed to sleeping alone. It's been stressful on our relationship, but we're getting through and hanging tough.
I've missed being around Xanga and reading your blogs. Stop in and say "hi".
